29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) 141-153 Penn Station Lane, Manheim, PA, On or about May 15, 2025, an employee installing roof shingles on a front porch dormer of a new build residential roof was not utilizing acceptable means or methods of fall protection, exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet to the grade below. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
