29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet high having a fire resistant rating of at least one-half hour: a) 2066 South East Ave, Vineland, NJ - Oxygen compressed gas cylinders were not stored at least 20 feet from acetylene (fuel gas) cylinders. The employer stored a 100 pound oxygen cylinder and various sized acetylene cylinders (2 - 30 pound and 3 - 10 pound cylinders) in the same vertical gas cylinder locker, thus exposing employees to fire/explosion hazards. This condition was observed on or about May 19, 2025. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASE FILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
