29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Worksite 21 Mina Court, West Babylon, NY 11704- An employee onsite was installing shingles on the ridge of the roof of a two story residential home. The Employee was not protected by a means of fall protection and was exposed to falling approximately 20-feet to the ground below; on or about May 20, 2025. b) Worksite 21 Mina Court, West Babylon, NY 11704- Employees onsite were installing tar paper and shingle on the roof of a two-story residential home. Employees were not protected by a means of fall protection and were exposed to falling approximately 12-feet to the ground below; on or about May 20, 2025. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
