29 CFR  1910.1001(j)(7)(iv): The employer shall also provide, at no cost to employees who perform housekeeping operations in an area which contains ACM or PACM, an asbestos awareness training course, which shall at a minimum contain the following elements: health effects of asbestos, locations of ACM and PACM in the building/facility, recognition of ACM and PACM damage and deterioration, requirements in this standard relating to housekeeping, and proper response to fiber release episodes, to all employees who perform housekeeping work in areas where ACM and/or PACM is present. Each such employee shall be so trained at least once a year.  (a) 122 N Wheaton Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187 - On or about June 3rd, 2025, employees performed general custodial and maintenance duties throughout the facility which contained asbestos-containing floor tiles, prior to receiving asbestos awareness training initially or on an annual basis.   The United States Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1638363, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/19/2024 with respect to a workplace located at 3225 S.W. 87th, Portland, OR 97225  The United States Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1637648, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/19/2024 with respect to a workplace located at 630 N.E.
