29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer shall ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l). On or about June 5, 2025, with respect to an establishment located at 410 Old Peshtigo Road in Peshtigo, Wisconsin, the employer did not ensure that personnel operating a Yale GLP080 Lift Truck had been trained to the requirements of section (l) of this standard prior to operating the powered industrial vehicle.
