OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, , in that employees were exposed serious injuries or death from falling trees/limbs/branch sections while performing tree service and landscaping activities. JOBSITE/115 BRUSHY HILL ROAD, DANBURY, CT 06810: On or about 06-05-2025, the employer did not ensure that communications and a drop zone were established for the employee who was exposed to struck-by hazards during tree felling operations. An employee was struck by a tree trunk resulting in serious injuries.
