1910.176(b) Secure storage. Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse.  a) On or about, June 6, 2025, the employer did not ensure that storage of cardboard boxes did not create a hazard in that bundles of cardboard boxes placed on a pallet from 1 row on a pallet to up to 9 rows on a pallet were stack in bundles that were up 10 bundles high on a single pallet, and these pallets were then stacked up to 4 pallets high. These bundles of cardboard were found leaning and sliding on the pallets as they were not stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse.
