29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. (a) On or about June 11, 2025, located at 227 Main Street, Pewaukee, WI 53072, employees were performing siding work on the lower portion of roof of a two-story residential home with a pitch of approximately 4:12 and up to approximately 10 8/10 feet in height without the use of fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to a fall hazard. Modern Exterior LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1687151, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 16, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 109 Sunset Drive, Pewaukee WI 53072.
