29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1): Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc.    a. NJP Holding Group LLC dba Bellawood Farm located at 18677 Oregon Rd, Canal Winchester, OH 43110: a. On or about June 5, 2025 and at times prior, employees were cutting ribeye steaks with a Hobart Meat Cutting Bandsaw, Model 6801, Serial Number 27-1172-985 with approximately four inches of the unused portion of the blade above the meat unguarded, thereby exposing employees to being struck against the cutting blade.  b. NJP Holding Group LLC dba Bellawood Farm located at 18677 Oregon Rd, Canal Winchester, OH 43110: On or about June 8, 2025 and at times prior, employees were exposed to a struck-by hazards  while working within six inches of the blade of a Hobart Meat Cutting Bandsaw Model 6614, Serial Number: 27-1144-727.

29 CFR  1910.305(g)(2)(iii):Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws.  a.  NJP Holding Group LLC  dba Bellawood Farm located at 18677 Oregon Rd, Canal Winchester, OH 43110: On or about June 8, 2025 and at times prior, an electrical power supply flexible cable used to provide power for the Hobart Meat Cutting Bandsaw Model 6614, Serial Number: 27-1144-727  was found to not have an effective strain relief device allowing internal cables to be visible and subject to damage. The following condition exposed employees to electrical contact hazards.

Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA.  a.   NJP Holding Group LLC  dba Bellawood Farm located at 18677 Oregon Rd, Canal Winchester, OH 43110: On or about June 5, 2025 an employee received amputation inquires to the fingers while using a Hobart Meat Cutting Bandsaw, the employer did not report the amputation injury incident until June 8, 2025. The employer failed to report the incident to OSHA within the required 24 hours.
