29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  At the job site located at 3729/3731 West 30th St. North Wichita, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to chemical hazards in that a written hazard communication program had not been developed, implemented and maintained at the job site. Employees were handling gasoline at the job site. The chemical hazards associated with this chemical include: skin and eye irritation, drowsiness and/or dizziness, may cause damage to liver, kidneys and nervous system, is suspected of causing cancer and may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Additionally, gasoline, can act as a fueling agent due to its extreme flammability as a liquid and vapor.  Guillermo De La Torre Gonzales was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1753134, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 08-26-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 12353 Fennec Maize, KS 67101.  Guillermo De La Torre Gonzales was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1738322, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 07-03-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 12113-12115 Swift Fox Street Maize, KS 67101.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  At the job site located at 3729/3731 West 30th St. North Wichita, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to chemical hazards in that they were not provided access to the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for gasoline at the job site. The chemical hazards associated with these chemicals include: skin and eye irritation, drowsiness and/or dizziness, may cause damage to liver, kidneys and nervous system, is suspected of causing cancer and may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Additionally, gasoline, can act as a fueling agent due to its extreme flammability as a liquid and vapor.
