29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  At the temporary jobsite located at 18460 W 21st Ct. Colwich, KS 67030, employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards greater than 6 feet in that the ladder used to access and egress the roof was not extended three feet above the eave or was not secured to the structure.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   The employer fails to ensure employees are protected from fall hazards when engaged in roofing activities for residential construction.  This was most recently documented on July 17, 2025, at 18460 W 21st Ct. Colwich, KS 67030, where employees engaged in residential roofing activities on a 9:12 sloped roof approximately 13.9 feet above ground level were not using any form of fall protection.  Guillermo De La Torre Gonzales was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1810279, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05-22-2025, with respect to a workplace located at 15221/15223 Kristina St Goddard KS.  Guillermo De La Torre Gonzales was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1753134, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08-26-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 12353 Fennec Maize, KS 67101.  Guillermo De La Torre Gonzales  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1738248, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07-03-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 12113-12115 Swift Fox Street in Maize, Kansas.   Guillermo De La Torre Gonzales  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1732200, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06-26-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 3700 N. 119th St. W in Wichita, Kansas.
