29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): The employer permitted an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work and was not protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means: a) On or about June 16, 2025, employees performing roofing work were permitted to work in proximity to energized powerlines and were not protected against electric shock. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
