29 CFR  1926.416(e)(1):Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used:  At the temporary jobsite located at 23939 W 113th Terrace lot 28, Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to hazards in these instances   1)  Yellow extension cord used to connect to the compressor's power cord is damaged in that the cord sheath has pulled free from the attachment plug increasing the chance of wire cable breakage and increased strain on the wire terminals, creating a potential shock and/or fire hazard. 2)  Black compressor power cord has a damaged cord, which has minimal electrical tape; however the cord has compromised integrity potentially creating a fire hazard.
