29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) Worksite: On or about June 20, 2025 and at times prior thereto, an employee was operating a Dewalt DCS391B 20V Max 6.5" Circular Saw with one hand operating the circular saw and one hand holding wooden stakes. The circular saw kicked back and made contact with the left wrist just below the watch line resulting in a partial amputation. The employee was not trained in using the circular saw according to procedures and manufacturer's instructions.
