29 CFR 1910.178(o)(1):Only stable or safely arranged loads shall be handled. Caution shall be exercised when handling off-center loads which cannot be centered. a. On or about June 16, 2025, the employer did not ensure that a Ultratainer IBC tote, containing 50% caustic soda, was safely arranged and stable before an employee lifted the tote and moved it with a forklift. As a result, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.
