29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: a) On or about 06/24/2025, in the Machine Shop Area, employees were exposed to flying debris and internal injuries when using compressed air for cleaning parts with the nozzle pressure reaching approximately 53 p.s.i. No safeguards were in place to limit the pressure of a back-pressure buildup in case the nozzle is obstructed or dead-ended. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
