29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chutes attached), where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 M) above the walking/working surface, is not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. a) On or about June 13, 2025, at 800 Ingraham Street, Northwest Building (A) Washington, D.C. the employer failed to provide fall protection exposing employees to fall hazard of approximately 25 feet while installing blue skin waterproofing near a window while working from a ladder. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(6): Unsecured ladder(s) were used on surfaces that were not stable and level: a) On or about June 13, 2025, at 800 Ingraham Street, Northwest Building (A) Washington, D.C. employer exposed employees to hazards associated while using an extension ladder that extended 24-feet that was balanced on an unstable surface while installing blue skin waterproofing materials. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
