29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3):Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check: a) 1375 Chestnut St, Emmaus, PA 18049, Fire extinguisher in kitchen - On or about June 24, 2025, the employer did not subject portable fire extinguishers to an annual maintenance check. Note: Applies to any extinguishers provided in the workplace. Maintenance check includes an internal examination, except extinguishers with stored pressure. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
