This condition exposed employees to electrical hazards due to the blocked panel.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a)Rinker Materials at 901 East Ivy Avenue, Mitchell, SD 57301: On or about and at times prior to June 26, 2025, the employer did not ensure that adequate guarding was in place around the rollers on the Hydra Roll Model CMR 96015, located outside at the facility. This condition exposed employees to caught-in and amputation hazards. (b)Rinker Materials at 901 East Ivy Avenue, Mitchell, SD 57301: On or about and at times prior to June 26, 2025, the employer did not ensure that adequate guarding was attached around the rollers on the Vari Touch Wire Roller, Model: W12.5-VTC-8, Serial Number: 2140, 2141, 2142 located outside at the facility. This condition exposed employees to caught-in and amputation hazards.
