29 CFR  1926.152(a)(1): For quantities of one gallon or less, containers other than the original container(s), approved metal safety cans, or DOT approved containers were used for storage, use, and handling of flammable liquids:  On or about 6/25/2025, the employer did not ensure gasoline, used in the gas-powered air compressor, was transported in an approved metal safety can or DOT-approved container to ensure employees were not exposed to chemical hazards and fire hazards during construction operations at 1025 Vogel Estates Lane in Arnold, MO.

The employees were conducting residential roofing operations that exposed them to the hazard of falling from a height of greater than ten (10) feet.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  On or about 6/25/2025, the employer did not ensure portable ladders were constructed and placed so three (3) feet or more were extended above the upper landing at the job site located at 1025 Vogel Estates Lane, in Arnold MO. The ladder the employees used to access the roof was extended approximately 2.5 feet beyond the upper landing, or edge of the roof, thus exposing employees to fall hazards.

On or about 5/25/2025, the employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written (training) certification record each employee who were engaged in roofing operations 6ft (1.8m) or more above lower levels. The employees were not trained in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury while at the job site located at 1025 Vogel Estates Lane, in Arnold, MO. The employees were conducting roofing operations that exposed them to the hazard of falling from a height of greater than ten (10) feet.

Employees were exposed to health and chemical hazards from utilizing gas to power air compressors for the use of pneumatic nail guns at a worksite located at 1025 Vogel Estates Lane in Arnold, MO.
