OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while operating a cut-off-saw. (a) Worksite: On or about 7/1/2025, an employee was exposed to struck-by hazards while operating a Stihl TS 420 cut-off saw to cut a precast curb, where the set-up prevented the cut section from remaining open, allowing the rotating blade to get pinched, causing the saw to kickback.
