29 CFR  1926.25(a):During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs,  debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures.   Site: 80 Clarkson Street, New York NY 10014  Or or about 7/2/25  a) The employer did not ensure that a work area on the 38th floor was kept cleared from debris.   The area where a job-made ladder was located for access between the 38th and 39th floors was  cluttered with un protected rebar, wood, tools, buckets and other items creating tripping hazards.

29 CFR  1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement.  Site: 80 Clarkson Street, New York NY 10014  On or about 7/2/25  a) Employees worked/walked next to unprotected rebar on the 38th floor. Rebar was not capped nor guarded to prevent employees from impalement.
