(a) Ricardo's Construction failed to document abatement within 10 calendar days after the abatement date that each of the following cited violations had been corrected. Citation 1, Item 3 a serious violation of 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1) with an abatement date of August 14, 2025. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATIONS OF THE CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

This exposed the employees to struck by hazards and eye injuries.

(a) On or about July 2, 2025, at 1742 Hammock Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066, employees framing a new residential home were not using fall protection. This exposed the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 11 feet 7 inches from the roof eve to the ground below on the back side of the home.
