29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section. At a worksite located at 30 W Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO 64108: A employee was exposed to a fall hazard. The employee was observed exiting the guardrails of the platform basket and using the railing to gain access to an elevated areas to place lighting. This was last demonstrated on May 23, 2025. The employee was exposed to heights of 25-27 feet to the ground below. The employee was not protected from falls by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems.
