The employer failed to ensure sample results were submitted daily in order to know daily 8 hour-TWA exposures within a reasonable time frame for correcting the exposure amount if over 1 f/cc (e.g. engineering controls). 29 CFR  1926.1101(g)(4)(i): All Class I work, including the installation and operation of the control system shall be supervised by a competent person as defined in paragraph (b) of this section;  a. On or about July 3, 2025, and at times prior, employees were exposed to asbestos inhalation hazards. The employer failed to ensure the designated competent person on site, the supervisor at the time, was capable of conducting the correct sampling procedures. The employer let the sample pumps run inside the containment when employees were not working inside the containment and were on breaks, and the employer did not submit the asbestos samples daily.
