29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: on July 15, 2025, At a worksite located at 2811 South 11th Street Saint Joseph, MO: 1. Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards when utilizing extension cords to power a pedestal fan in the packaging area. The pedestal fan in use in the packaging area had a damaged power cord that had not been removed from service. 2. Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards when utilizing extension cords to power a temperature tracker for the autoclave in the lab. 3. Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards when utilizing extension cords to power an agitator in the B Mill. The extension cord used to power the agitator in the B Mill was wrapped around conduit and piping.
