29 CFR  1926.20(b)(1): The employer did not initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part.  a) On or about March 31, 2025, the employer did not maintain programs to provide for compliance with the OSH Act to control or minimize safety and health hazards associated with roofing work that his employees were required to perform.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a) On March 31, 2025, employees performing roofing work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 18.1 feet.  I.M.E. Roofing LLC  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1675290, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed final order on August 30, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 874 S Fletcher Dr, Wheeling, IL 60090.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.
