29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Location: 1776 South 2nd Street. Piscataway, NJ 08856. Back warehouse filling station. A plumbed emergency eyewash station was nonfunctional in the warehouse where employees transferred MEKO #2 (2-butanone oxime) from totes into drums. As a result, employees were exposed to the corrosive properties of the chemical without access to proper emergency decontamination. **Note: An emergency eyewash should be readily available during an emergency for delivering at least 0.4 gallons (1.5L) of clean water per minute continuously for at least 15 minutes, as recommended in American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard Z358.1. Conditions(s) were noted on or about 7/23/2025.
