29 CFR  1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or  were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve:  a) On March 28, 2025 and at times prior, at 11115 32T Street SW in Dickinson, North Dakota, a 3M Full-Face and a 3M Half-Face respirator with cartridges were being stored in the open next to paints, solvents, and other chemicals located in Building C's Paint Booth Storage Area. Not properly storing respirators allows dust, contaminants, and/or other harmful substances to come into contact with the  facepiece, breathing area, or cartridge that employees are using.  b) On March 28, 2025 and at times prior, at 11115 32T Street SW in Dickinson, North Dakota, 3M Full-Face respirators with cartridges were being stored in the open next to paints, solvents, and other chemicals located in Building B's Paint Mixing Room Area. Not properly storing respirators allows dust, contaminants, and/or other harmful substances to come into contact with the facepiece, breathing area, or cartridge that employees are using.
