29 CFR  1910.138(a):The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes.  a) On or about July 30, 2025, in the kitchen area: employees were exposed to amputation hazards when using knifes to cut meat and vegetables without the use of cut-proof gloves.   b) On or about July 30, 2025, in the kitchen area, employees were exposed to burn hazards while transferring hot cooked food to trays without the use of  thermal protection gloves.  The GATE GOURMET, INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1910.138(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1658605, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10-04-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 165 Charles W Grant Pkwy Unit 301, Atlanta, GA 30354.

29 CFR  1910.305(b)(2)(i): Each outlet box in completed installations did not have a cover, faceplate, or fixture canopy:   a) On or about July 30, 2025, at the dish room area in the column next to the washing machine, employees were exposed to electrical hazards of 110-220 volts while washing kitchen utensils in that, the electrical outlet was missing a cover.  b) On or about July 30, 2025, at the dish room area in the wall behind to the dish carts, employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards of 110-220 volts while washing the kitchen utensils,  in that the electrical outlet was missing a cover.
