29 CFR 1910.252(a)(2)(xiii)(C): The employer did not recognize its responsibility for the safe usage of cutting or welding equipment, and did not insist that cutters or welders and their supervisors were suitably trained in the safe operation of their equipment and the safe use of the process: (a) Greif-Austell: On 7/22/25, an employee was exposed to struck by hazards in that the employer did not ensure the safe operation of torch cutting and the procedures to be followed to eliminate risks such as but not limited to falling material while employees were torch cutting on a steel tank to recycle material.
