29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about August 6, 2025, the employer did not ensure employees engaged in preparing a roof for shingle installation with an 8/12 pitch at a commercial office building located at 26600 Detroit Road, Westlake, OH, 35 feet above the ground were protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Deal Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of the equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1763726, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/27/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 20035 Sussex Rd. Shaker Hts. OH 44122.
