29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): The employer permitted employees to work in close proximity to energized, unguarded, and ungrounded electric power circuits that the employee could contact in the course of their work: a) On or about March 18, 2025, at 521 Orton Ave., Fort Lauderdale Beach, FL 33304, an employee handling a 40 ft. long rebar was exposed to electrical hazards; in that, the employer did not ensure that the object was kept at a safe distance from a high voltage power line running on the side of the building, to prevent severe electrical burns.
