29 CFR 1910.242(b): Effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment was not used when compressed air was used for cleaning purposes: HOME DEPOT U.S.A., INC. DBA The Home Depot Distribution Center, 4194 Weld County Road 36, Mead, Colorado: On or about August 8, 2025, the employer failed to ensure that employees using the company's 20-gallon, 200 PSI portable air compressor with air gun to blow dirt and wood particles off their clothing were protected from air injection injuries and/or flying debris. The air gun lacked a safety nozzle to reduce pressure to 30 psi and was not equipped with a chip guard.
