29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: (a)Dalo Construction, Inc. at 3018 Pasqueflower Place, Brookings, SD 57006: On or about and at times prior to August 7, 2025 the controlling employer did not ensure that subcontracted employees conducting leading and unprotected edge steel decking installation on a commercial structure were adequately protected from fall hazards. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 15 feet.
