OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to crushing hazards while moving stone slabs. a) On August 5, 2025, the employer failed to ensure an employee positioning the slab grabber on two (2) jumbo stone slabs sitting on an A-Frame stand, was protected from a crushing hazard in that an employee was crushed due to standing in the fall shadow when two (2) of the approximate 75-inch width X 96-inch length X 0.375-inch thick (75" H x 96" L x 0.375" T) 265 pounds stones fell.
