OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employee(s) were exposed to crushed-by hazards: On or about August 12, 2025, at the worksite located at 1 Selma Farm Ln. in Festus MO, employees were exposed to the recognized hazards of vehicle rollover and crushing created by mowing on steep slopes near drop-offs. An employee operated a Hustler Super Z, zero-turn radius lawnmower (Model Number 942839, Serial Number 23072590) on a 15-degree slope within 10 feet of a ditch that measured approximately 11 feet deep on a 45-degree slope without the lawnmower's Rollover Protective Structure fully extended. The lawnmower rolled over the edge of the drop-off, pinning the employee beneath it, and the employee died as a result of injuries sustained during the incident.
