29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment:  On or about August 12th, 2025, employees engaged in Hot-Dip Galvanizing operations located at 151 E HWY 6 AB Road, Hastings, Nebraska 68901 were exposed to Zinc burns in that employees were not required to use protective sleeves or other safety equipment when dipping and skimming operations are in effect. Additional hazards observed:   1.) The employer failed to enforce their safety policy requiring employees to wear face shields down.  2.) The employer failed to enforce their safety policy requiring employees to wear aprons.   As a result, an employee was burned by 840-degree Zinc splash during coating/dipping operations. The employee sustained 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his extremities.
