29 CFR 1910.304(b)(4)(ii)(B):Where connected to a branch circuit supplying two or more receptacles or outlets, a receptacle may not supply a total cord- and plug-connected load in excess of the maximum specified in Table S-4: A) Office Break Room - On or about August 14, 2025, employees were exposed to electrical and fire hazards because a relocatable power strip with 15 amp receptacles, plugged into a 15 amp wall outlet, connected to a 20 amp branch circuit were overloaded. There was a 13.3 amp microwave oven, 9.7 amp toaster oven, and 7.5 amp coffee maker, drawing 30 amps of current through the outlet and power strip.
