29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) New commercial construction located at 3550 Rowe Lane, Cumming, GA 30041, Second Floor Top Plate: On or about 08/18/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 22-feet to the lower level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) New commercial construction located at 3550 Rowe Lane, Cumming, GA 30041: On or about 08/18/2025, the employer failed to inspect all electrical extension cords used to provide power to electric tools, in that a 50 ft orange electrical cord was damaged and exposing the internal insulated energized wires. An inspection of these cords was not performed prior to the shift as these cords were not repaired or removed from service.
