Employees were exposed to falls. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about 08/19/2025, at a residential roof project located at 861 Parkside Aves in Buffalo NY; employees were installing shingles and equipment on the roof of a two story house. The roof had multiple pitches including an 5 in 12 pitch with an eave height of approximately 19 feet. There was no fall protection in use. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED L&P Construction I Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1827417 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/11/2025, with respect to a workplace located at 963 Ridge Rd in Lackawanna, NY.
