29 CFR 1926.20(b) Accident prevention responsibilities.(2):Such programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers. a) On August 26, 2025, the employer failed to ensure that frequent and regular inspections of the job site were conducted to identify and correct fall hazards. As a result, three employees performed framing work on a newly constructed residential structure without using a fall protection system, exposing them to a fall hazard. The fall height was greater than 14'. Agys Construction, LLC DBA Angys Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.20 (b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1637784, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 01/03/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 5344 Walnut View Drive, Mason OH, 45040.

1926.501(b)(1) "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) On August 26, 2025, the employer failed to ensure that employees were utilizing a fall protection system while conducting framing work on a new-construction residential structure. As a result, three employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 14'. Agys Construction, LLC DBA Angys Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1637784, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 01/03/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 5344 Walnut View Drive, Mason OH, 45040.
