29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) 21 East Main Street, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; Roof Section 8 foot by 40 foot 5 1/8 inch - On or about August 29, 2025, employees worked on a roof, exposed to a 24 foot fall to the the lower grade without the benefit of a fall protection system. 21 East Main Street Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; Roof Section 8 foot by 29 foot 7 1/8 inch - On or about August 29, 2025, employees worked on a roof, exposed to a 24 foot fall to the the lower grade without the benefit of a fall protection system. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
