29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section.    On or about September 4, 2025, Employees were exposed to fall hazards in approximately 12 feet 1 inches height while performing siding construction activities from a pump jack scaffold. No fall protection was being utilized.  No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.

29 CFR  1926.454(a)(1): The employer failed to have each employee who performs work while on a scaffold trained regarding the nature of any electrical hazards, fall hazards and falling object hazards in the work area.  On or about September 4, 2025, the employer did not  ensure that employees had been trained to recognize and minimize fall hazards.  Employees were exposed to fall hazards in approximately 12 feet 1 inches high while performing  siding activities from a pump jack scaffold on a residential structure without using fall protection.      Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
