29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On September 11, 2025, at or near 1720 Eighth Avenue SW in Jamestown, North Dakota, employees engaged in re-roofing operations, were exposed to fall hazards of over 10 feet without the use of a fall protective system. Note: This company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1606894, Citation 1, Item 2-a, and was affirmed as a final order on August 10, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 4400 South Grinnell Avenue in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
