29 CFR  1926.454(b): The employer shall have each employee who is involved in erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining, or inspecting a scaffold trained by a competent person to recognize any hazards associated with the work in question. The training shall include the following topics, as applicable:   (1) The nature of scaffold hazards; (2)The correct procedures for erecting, disassembling, moving, operating, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining the type of scaffold in question;  a) On or about September 11, 2025, at the Cincinnati Duke Energy Convention Center rehabilitation construction project, the employer failed to ensure employees were trained to recognize struck?by hazards associated with working in close proximity to other mobile elevated work platforms, including an 86?foot JLG aerial lift, model 860SJ, and a JLG scissor lift, model 1932R. Employees working in area "E," south side first floor, middle of the building, lacked the training necessary to identify and avoid struck?by hazards created by adjacent equipment operating within the same work area. As a result, employees were exposed to struck?by hazards.
