29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means. On or about September 11, 2025, employee(s) were engaged in auxiliary ground rod installation activities in Lindsay, Nebraska. Employee(s) were exposed to electrical shock hazards while penetrating a ground rod into the soil directly contacting a 277-volt underground electrical without de-energizing the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means. Employer was informed that there was no underground electrical activity.

On or about September 11, 2025 employee(s) engaged in auxiliary ground rod installation activities at Lindsay Corporation, located at 214 E. 2nd St., Lindsay, Nebraska. Employee(s) were not provided with insulated protective gloves when exposed to electrical-shock hazards while driving grounding rod(s) into the soil where live conductors were located carrying a 277-volt electrical current.
