29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1):Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about September 12, 2025, during the installation of steel decking on a structural steel building at the job site located at 6336 Hudson Crossing Parkway, Hudson Ohio 44236; The employer failed to ensure that all employees were protected from fall hazards while installing steel decking on the roof of a new construction steel erection building. An employee was injured as a result of a fall of approximately 39.48 feet as the employee was working directly next to the decking foreman.
