On or about September 15th, 2025, employees required to use  3M full face tight fitting elastomeric respirators when performing  boat bottom painting operations were not fit tested prior to initial use and annually thereafter.  Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

On or about September 15th, 2025, employees engaged in boat bottom painting process employees utilize various products  such as but not limited to sulfuric acid hydrochloric acid, hull & bottom cleaner, epoxy and  paints. Employees were not provided with information and training on hazardous chemicals in the work area.
