29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a)Cal-Tex Electric, Inc. at 309 East 10th Street, Madison, SD 57042: On or about and at times prior to September 22, 2025, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls in that an employee was observed stepping on top of the fuel pump canopy commercial structure north parapet wall while transitioning to a scissor lift with no fall protection system in place. This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards greater than six feet.
